Summary

To help further the mission of assisting journalists, politicians, activists and other (as outlined in the Contributing README), I think it would be valuable to be in conversation with various activist groups.

It's not clear to me what this would look like yet, but I wanted to create this issue as a place to gather and refine ideas. An added bonus of this conversation would be direct feedback on how we can better support the needs of those who want to use the evidence in this repo.

I think a good starting place would be to reach out to Sens. Merkley and Warren. They have both called for a similar database. I am up for drafting a letter.

Other organizations and folks I can think of off the top of my head are @samswey, Mapping Police Violence, and Campaign to Zero.
