notes disappearing

I've been experiencing a persistent issue whereby notes will disappear from the app, and be replaced with a blank note. Looking at the git history you can see a commit that removes the entire contents of a note, but the note file itself remains. I can't understand how this would be happening. Any suggestions for how to debug would be appreciated.

First click on settings

In the settings you can find the debug button. It's the log of what's happening in the program. See if you can find when all the files are deleted in the debug logs.

The log begins when the app is launched. When the bug occurs. You can copy and paste the logs here.
