Checklist editor: typed text is not shown

Hi, I really like the idea behind the app, thanks for the project!

I found that for roughly 50% of new bullet list items, typed text doesn't show up (see attached video). Sadly, this makes the app rather hard to use. This happens with the stock system keyboard as well as other keyboard apps.

I also see that for every new item, the keyboard disappears and pops up again, as in #664. For long lists, it also hides / covers items further down and one needs to scroll in order to find the spot to put the cursor and start typing. This may or may not be related.
