Background

We routinely have people coming and asking "where to buy" the Joystream token, and also whether there are other options than the ones mentioned. It's also hard to figure out what other venues actually are more practical to people, because a large number do not want to go and sign up to MEXC, the only currnt exchange.

Proposal

Idea

What if we make it easier for people to get to the bottom of this question really quickly from our site, and also at the same time offer an opportunity for people to signal, effortlessly, what other venues would be better for them if they don't like any of the existing options.

Specifics

Add a "Buy JOY" as a new prominent CTA blue button in the top level nav, that also follows the page. When you hover or click, you see a really nice menu which has two parts. The first section has exchanges where you currently can buy, where you can click and you get redirected to the trading pair for JOY on that exchange, or some sort of swapping interface if its an AMM or swap service (like changenow). The second section has more of like "Don't like options above, where would you like JOY to be available", and then you show a list of like 5-50 exchanges, with a clear VOTE or similar CTA where its super clear that

a) the person will not be sent off the screen or need to fill in any more information
b) the menu will not close.

The vote information can be captured on the back end and share with the public.

Perhap it could help to show how many people have votd for each of the options the last month or something ,just as a way to make the user feel more comfortable that this is not a weird or risky activity.
