If one would like to change the font and its color of the slots, what file would I need to edit? Thank you

Edit: Let's make this also into a suggestion to properly add these font settings to the settings panel

Hello!

This is not difficult to do only editing one file. However, you will need:

  • Font Name

  • RGB decimal colour number (for example 255,255,255)

  • Add and adjust a font scaler. This is because the skin automatically calculates the font size that will be the best for the actual font, but each font has its own size, so the best thing is to add a scaler to easy adjust the font without removing the automatic font size calculation process.

Steps:

  • Adding the font size scaler:
  1. In this line pulse Enter and then add this line: 'FontSizeScaler=1',. The result will be like this:

    image

  2. In this line and in this line too replace 'FontSize=#SlotOverlayTextSize#', with 'FontSize=(#SlotOverlayTextSize#*#FontSizeScaler#)',. The result will be like this:

    image

  • Adding the font name:
  1. Below the FontSizeScaler added in 1. of the previous step (in this line) add this line: 'FontName=Berlin Sans FB', (replacing Berlin Sans FB with the name of the font you want). The result will be like this:

    image

  2. Below the modified lines in 2. of the previous step (in this line and in this line too) add this line: 'FontFace=#FontName#',. The result will be like this:

    image

  • Modifying the slot text color:
  1. With the RGB decimal code (there are webs where you can find RGB code of whatever colour you want to have) go to this line and replace the three first numbers with the code you have, without modifiying the fourth number. For example: 51,153,255 colour will be SlotOverlayTextColor=51,153,255,255. The result will be like this:

    image

  • After all previous steps are done, go to settings.ini, right click on the skin, and select rebuild main slots. After that load/reload main.ini, and you will have the skin as you want. If the text size is too big or small, go to 1. of the first step, and replace =1 of the FontSizeScaler with other result (for example, 0.8 or 1.2) and repeat this last step until you get the result you want.

Final result:
