Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
In game/big picture mode, when going into Media, then viewing a screenshot and backing out of it, I expect the selected screenshot to be the one I most recently viewed.
However, when you view screenshots that are far lower in your Media album and back out of them, you get bumped back all the way to the beginning of the album. This makes viewing older screenshots very difficult, as it necessitates you to scroll down countless screenshots each time.
In my case, every screenshot past the first 30 misbehaves this way.
Steps for reproducing this issue:
In game/big picture mode, open Media
Scroll past 30+ screenshots
Choose to view one these screenshots
Back out of viewing the screenshot

Hello @dangerousdonut, you've described an issue with the Steam client instead of SteamOS as a platform, so I've transferred this issue report to the steam-for-linux issue tracker.
In addition to the above behavior, I also noticed that when you go to view a screenshot, you can't then continue viewing the next past the first 30. So, go to view a screenshot, then press right to view the next and it'll stop at 30 even if there are more screenshots left in the album.
