The problem

I had the integration installed and it was working properly for a couple of months. Recently, it failed to initialise after a reboot (the error log showed the same error as below [invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'info']). I tried deleting and downgrading to 0.29.0, same result. It fails at the second step of the config flow (credentials) with an "unknown error". The error below is the only error in the log, and it shows up repeatedly (initialisation stuck there I'm guessing).

Your device model

RT-AX88U Pro

Firmware type

Stock

Firmware version

3.0.0.6.102_33308-gfb75e0b_344-g69f33

HACS

What version and type of Home Assistant installation do you use

Is there anything useful in the logs?

ERROR (MainThread) [custom_components.asusrouter.config_flow] Unknown error of type '<class 'ValueError'>' during connection to `192.168.1.1`: invalid literal for int() with base 10: 'info'

I've been trying to setup this integration for the last few weeks with only "unknown error" showing up. I figured out it eventually goes through credentials window if I keep confirming it.

Sadly on my ac86u with merlin fw 3.0.0.4.386.12_6 integration doesn't seem to provide much useful information. Most of the stuff is disabled or just wrong.

Sorry for the late reply

@allthegoodnamesweret4ken, please let me know whether you experience the same error after the last ArusRouter update (version 0.32.1). If so, please provide the new log errors (logging was improved)

@frgazor, if you are experiencing issues with the data shown in the integration, please, open a new issue with more details. Unless I know which sensors are wrong, I cannot fix anything. Also, some sensors are disabled by default to lower the traffic between HA and router. Each user is free to enable or disable the entities they are interested in.
