Describe the bug:

I want to express my frustration over a recent issue I encountered. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Unfortunately, my only USB drive was rendered useless, leaving me with a broken installation and no way to fix my laptop.

I used WoeUSB to create a Windows installation media, and it ended up damaging my USB drive. Now, my USB drive cannot be accessed, won't mount, won't format, and is essentially non-functional. It has become a piece of hardware that serves no purpose. I kindly request that you reconsider the development of such software that can potentially cause harm to users' devices. Please, I implore you to cease creating software that can destroy people's drives.

This incident has left me with no choice but to purchase a new USB drive, solely due to this unfortunate experience. I am immensely frustrated with this situation. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

  • Operating System: Linux Mint 21.1
  • WoeUSB Version: 0.2.12
