When I delete the last chat from the sidebar, the "loading" mockup stays and flashes. We could add a conditional. if chats are empty then display "Start Chat" or something along those lines

ah yes! good catch, I was thinking something along these lines as well in my PR for moving all settings in the sidebar

at the very least it shouldn't be stuck loading like that, "No Conversations Found." type placeholder there ideally
