I'm using the Flatpak version of Atom and I want to properly setup the
ide-php
package. The problem is that I can't properly point it to the/usr/bin/php
binary in any way.I tried passing it a
flatpak-spawn
command, I tried adding either/usr/bin
or/usr/bin/php
to thePATH
environment variable and it's never able to find it. I've also tried installing a php binary as an extention of theorg.freedesktop.Sdk
flatpak and attemptet to spawn that for it, but it didn't work. I always get an invalid path or command error.I've come across similar threads here on Github and on the various dev-related stack exchanges, where I found the above listed solutions, but nothing has worked so far.
Anyone happen to have a more step-by-step guide on how to do this, also maybe in a more general sense? There are a lot of Atom packages that rely on some external binary or another and I would like to have a clear and concise process of setting them up properly if I were ever to need them.
