Developer Tools are getting unresponsive in debugger mode

I'm not sure whether this is the right place for the question. I'd just like to make an open question if anybody faced this issue already.

I want to debug a package which uses the rendering pane of Atom.
When starting the debugger from the developer tools (ctrl+shift+i), for instance, when defining
Event Listeners Breakpoints > mouse click
the developer tools freeze.

I checked Settings > Performance. Tried to switch off / on High resolution CPU profiling.

Atom : 1.60.0 Electron: 9.4.4 Chrome : 83.0.4103.122 Node : 12.14.1

Windows 10.

Ok. You should open the folder in the dev mode.
