I realize that you are sunsetting soon, so maybe this question is irrelevant. I am not exactly sure what your sunsetting means, so I will ask this anyway.

When creating a new issue in GitHub, the default inserted text gives the following advice:

Do you want to ask a question? Are you looking for support? The Atom message board is the best place for getting support: https://discuss.atom.io

If I follow this URL my browser warns me that the page is unsafe. If I choose to proceed, I get HTTP code 404.

So where should I ask questions? :)

Sunsetting means they've stoped working on Atom, and no more updates will come. If it breaks don't expect a fix. (or replies here).

Time to find a replacement for Atom.
I will always miss it, but have moved to VSCode (Visual Studio Code) which is similar to Atom.

It is so similar that I deleted it in a week because it was a pain in the ass to use it

I 100% agree, it's no Atom, and I still miss it. I tried VSCode several times in the last year and went back to Atom each time, but now so much of original Atom is broken (packages pages closed, etc).

Having said that, I did just find out there are some community forks of Atom which may be worth a try.
