Description of the bug:
The Bazel completion plugin for Bash downloaded with bazel doesn't work for me. I'm using Bash 4.4.20(1)-release
I'm not sure if this fails to run on newer versions, I haven't tested this yet.
I'm not too familiar with bash scripting, so I don't know if this is invalid syntax or perhaps some error in parsing the file with the bash version I'm on.

After some fiddling, what worked for me was removing the comments after every condition in the
case...easc
blocksFor instance, removing the comments of the form
bazel/scripts/bazel-complete-template.bash
Line 756 in bb79b3c
i.e. comments following one of the case matches in the same line.
