[Config Support]: PTZ autotracking zooming setting stuck.

Describe the problem you are having

under the autotracking section, it seems to be stuck trying to use relative zooming setting, after seeing an error in the log I tried to set it to absolute and even disabled and I still get an error that relative is not supported and it disables zooming.

There's a difference between relative movement and relative zooming. The error messages are different and indicating your camera does not support relative zooming or relative movement. Unfortunately autotracking in Frigate will not work without the proper firmware support on your camera.

Oh dang, I did not catch that, so this is a frigate support issue then? Auto tracking would be a cool to have but not the end of the world Everything else is working.

Your camera's firmware just doesn't support the necessary ONVIF features. You could see if there's a firmware upgrade available from your camera's manufacturer. But without that support, there's nothing that can be done on Frigate's end, unfortunately.

got ya, it's a pretty old camera, I know there is a slightly newer firmware but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't add that. It's a Dahua SD59225U-HNI, I know it has it's own autotracking built in but I guess it's missing what is needed for that to be used via onvif, I'm curious how blue iris was doing it. Ah well, I'll see if anyone else has used the last firmware that was put out without bricking it. :)

Dahua is pretty good about their firmware upgrades - you may need to reset the camera to factory settings before and after the upgrade, but definitely see what the upgrade instructions say.

What was Blue Iris doing, exactly?
