Describe the bug

The KDE Plasma portal dialog that selects files only allows you to select "Windows installer packages" and not "Windows or DOS programs".

I have tried this with the Flatpak version of Bottles on my laptop's Arch installation and I can add .EXEs just fine.

  4. Open the bottle
  5. Click on Add Shortcut...
  6. Try to find a known .EXE file or change your file type Filter

Additional context

I can't get it to error out. It just won't let me select .EXEs.

I have also experienced the same issues, not just on SteamOS, but on Bazzite as well, using my OLED Deck.

It is also happening to me on Fedora 39 KDE
