I have the same issue. Created a new Game bottle and installed battle.net but it crashes after showing the login screen for a few seconds to a blizzard error reporting screen. I am not sure exactly what information I can give to help out so please let me know what else might be helpful. OS: Ubuntu 20.04 Debug Info
|
I installed allfonts dependency and this seemed to fix the crashing for me. |
@rubberneck Installing allfonts also got rid of the crash for me. Having said that, now the button to actually login does not appear, and the loading icon stays indefinitely. Did anyone else run into this issue and manage to fix it? If so, how? |
I am also getting the infinite loading icon under login form. All I did was create a new "Gaming" preset. Can provide any info you need, just @ me here with what you want |
Looks like a battle.net update today causing some issues. |
@rubberneck Cheers. It also includes a reference to the Lutris discord where we can download an old battle.net version. Will try that next. |
Adding WINE_SIMULATE_WRITECOPY=1 as an environment variable as suggested in the above reddit thread worked for me on Soda-experimental_8.0! |
I am having the same problem. On a fresh install of fedora. Installing allfonts dependency fixed it. |
Logged in just to write that this is the only thing from a long list of things that worked for me, thanks! |
