For example I could not set my receiving address via e-mail reply.

Sorry, yes, it fails to understand anything that isn't exactly the Bitcoin Cash address. This will be fixed soon.

The bot didn't get linked properly as the (at)chaintip was in the title and not the description. It's not only you who's made this mistake. I need to explain it clearer. I left a message in the PR as well.

This is now fixed. The bot also understands all CAPS cashaddrs as given by the copay wallet. The 'bitcoincash:' prefix, if present, still needs to be lowercase.
