IDK, try running app as root to see if issue remains, for example.

Hello!
That's a great question! In case you want to find solution it would be a good start by giving some details!
Let me give you few examples:

  • You tried different cables and result is the same.
  • You didn't tried different cables
  • App tested on different computers and on others it works
  • App somehow is not working on your Windows XP computer only
  • You installed drivers using Zadig
  • You installed drivers from inside this app
  • You didn't installed drivers
  • Issue appears after you moved from JRE 8 to JDK 17 and now nothing works
  • Nothing works since the moment you removed JDK 11 and installed JRE 8
  • You just installed application as described in README document and it doesn't work with JRE 8
  • You just installed application as described in README document and it doesn't work with JRE 16
  • When NS connected nothing in windows beeps
  • When NS connected something beeps and you see in 'control panel -> list of devices' something strange
  • When NS connected something beeps and you see it's connected
  • When you plug NS to some USB on computer it beeps and on other it is not beeping
  • You're using only available USB port that is type-c because it's new laptop and it's the only way
  • You're using only free USB 3.1 port
  • You're using only 'old good USB' port
  • Nothing works with New Tinfoil (BTW that's expected)
  • Nothing works when GoldLeaf closed
  • Nothing works when [you name it] opened

Hope it helps!

Open Tinwoo/Awoo, plug NS to PC, make sure you see 'switch (homebrew)' in list of devices. It should be (could be) on 'libusb' section. Then please open ns-usbloader, select 'GoldLeaf' and click 'Upload to NS'.
On this step progress bar should start running back and forth.
If it's not, start app from console "cmd.exe" as noted in README and repeat steps above. Copy and paste what you see in 'in-app logs' (dialog icon) and what you see in console (if there is something). Maybe we can find out what is the issue this way.

Also you can try it by running as system administrator.

@cybermatrix84 try running it as system administrator. App doesn't have access to (any of) your USB devices.
