Green artifacting appeared on display after running #23
Comments
I am facing the same issue. Changing the wallpaper removes the spots but returns on subsequent reboot. Using Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with i3 7020U integrated graphics. Love to have a suitable fix. |
@aprendiz000 @Morpheus636 can you run |
@dianariyanto Here you go!

@dianariyanto Here it is

The problem is related to 20-intel.conf file. I removed it from /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ and it worked well again. |
@srmarin work well by removing 20-intel.conf file |
Removing 20-intel.conf file solve the Green artifacts but this time virtual display does not work. I think issue still persists |
I've attached a screenshot of my desktop. These green artifacts appeared after I ran the script. They are entirely software, since they appear only on my desktop (they don't appear on top of windows) and appear in a screenshot.
The system is an LG Gram 14z980 with an i5 and integrated graphics, running ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
Update: Removing the provided 20-intel.conf file fixes the issue, but I'd love to be able to use this utility. What can be done to fix it?
