Feature request: Enhance shutdown function to accept context for improved control #172

At present, it appears that the shutdown function of the exporter does not support the ability to specify a context.

Introducing this capability could offer significant benefits, particularly in scenarios where timeouts and other context-specific configurations need to be established.

Enabling the specification of context within the shutdown function would facilitate the implementation of graceful shutdown procedures and enhance the overall control and management of the process.

This enhancement would provide users with a more robust and versatile toolset for handling shutdown operations effectively.

We believe that incorporating this feature aligns with the project's goals and would greatly contribute to its functionality and usability
