Merge map overview and venue map page

Open UX questions:

1. How does the navigation look like? How to get to that page?
2. Gray out other items in new page when it is in 'single venue' mode

I thought about it and I still don't think it is necessary to merge those views and that we just should bring back the "get directions" icon in the venue detail view. I think it does not matter to have two maps on the stack. One can always go quickly back to the venue list by pressing on the navigation
items.

This also fixes the issue, how to handle a "press" in 'single venue' mode, because we can not open the venue details again, which we do in the map overview, but we have to switch to a Maps App to get the route calculated.

So in my opinion we should change the ticket to do the following:

• show "get directions" icon in venue details
• color the location icon the same way, we do in map overview.

No it is not necessary. But if we find a suitable solution where the map pages are merged, this could leave us with a pretty amazing UX, I believe. This is why i think we should leave this ticket open and open a new ticket for the solution you suggested. Lets run with this until we find a nice UX to merge the maps?
