Hey,

I really like the mojibar, very handy. I think an autoupdate would be a nice addition because currently one has to check the github repo and redownload the app.

I know there are some electron packages that are supposed to provide an easy autoupdate, however I never tried it, so I don't know if this is a huge thing or just a small package install and configuration.

While I appreciate that this might not be the most important feature, I think it is still very valuable and would be a nice addition.

Thanks.

Thanks. I'd agree. Have you tried installing with homebrew? Updating would be slightly easier: brew cask reinstall mojibar.

I know autoupdate is doable but I seem to have heard that it's an non trivial amount of work. https://electron.atom.io/docs/api/auto-updater/ It's worth revisiting though.

Hey @muan, I did not know it was available via brew. This makes everything much nicer already, thanks for letting me know. (I appreciate it is written in the docs, somehow I just did not read them).

Hey @muan is this not done? The notes say it now updates automatically.

@lukasoppermann The app itself doesn't auto update. The app just fetches the newest version of emojilib automatically.

Ahh, okay, thanks for clarifying.
