virus alert #11

You're getting the message because Keyviz is signed with a personal certificate, not with a Microsoft Partner Program account (I tried to sign up, but the site got stuck after step 1, don't know why...). The application reads keyboard input, which looks like a Trojan to the defender. You can use Keyviz by selecting "Allow on device" from the "Actions". If you have doubts, you can check the whole source code or block it with firewall to disable internet access for the same. No data is collected with the application so, it doesn't require an internet connection to work. In the future, I'll try to tackle this either with a paid certificate or Microsoft Partner Program. |

Checked on VirusTotal for the .exe installer v1.0.6, most likely false positives. |

I would love to install this but windows defender says that it contains a nasty virus Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml and as a result it is blocked.
