I was able to build it in a jail (13.2-RELEASE) following https://www.navidrome.org/docs/installation/build-from-source/. Install these pkgs before starting:
Create the user to run as (not sure if the rc file makes the user, I don't think it does)
These are the contents of my .toml config file:
This is the rcfile I used:
Just make sure the user (navidrome) has access to the config and music folder. To run (available at port 4533):

FreeBSD (or any BSD variant for that matter) is not officially supported by Navidrome, it seems to be maintained by daniel @ morante.net. Please reach out to him for any support. In the meantime, I think this issue can be converted to a discussion, so FreeBSD users can share workarounds like the one above. What do you guys think? |

Hi, I tried to build 0.50.2 on FreeBSD 14.0, but got message that it needs go121, while FreeBSD's lang/go meta package installs lang/go120. I then deinstalled lang/go and lang/go120 and installed lang/go121, but then navidrome's setup complained about not finding go:
I checked what's on line 151 of Makefile:
It appears that
All I needed to do to build and use navidrome was to install both lang/go (which also installs lang/go120) and lang/go121, delete symlink go -> go120 and create symlink go -> go121:
One more check go is now pointing to go121:
... after which there was no problems with building and running navidrome 0.50.2. Hope this will help other navidrome users on FreeBSD. |

Hello
pkg and ports on freebsd show Navidrome as broken (pkg doesn't show it all). Could someone please fix that? I would love to continue to use Navidrome.
Thank you
