Configuring (≈unlimited) historical data replication?

Let's suppose I have a netdata on node A, running for something over a year (with dbengine limits raised way up for virtually unlimited data retention).

Now let's say I deploy another netdata on node B with the intention of making it the parent node for centralized collection. Is it possible to ask netdata to replicate all historical metrics from node A to node B (the entire year worth of them), and then delete them from node A?
