Hi, I have a GitHub app installed in our organization which is used to generate a github token. I use it to push to a branch on a fork of our repository. However, when the commit contains a workflow file, it fails with the error
I then added read and write permissions for workflows to the app and accepted the changes in our organization, but the error did not disappear.
The options I see are:
workflow
permission does not translate to the fork. This does not seem in line with the other permissions, as pushing to the fork without any changes in the workflow files works without a problem. If that's the case, is there any way around it?Can anybody help here? For completion, here is the full workflow: https://github.com/OpenSlides/openslides-backend/blob/95866dea189ddb52f44241492530f0dd83642686/.github/workflows/commands.yml. I use it to merge the main branch into a feature branch, with a recursive merge of the included submodule, since git currently cannot handle more than the most simple submodule merges.
