Data Science vs Web Devlopment...

Hey fellow programmers....I'm student in India...I'm having a tough time in choosing any one of the following domain:

1. Web Devlopment
2. Data Sciences

So I want someone to help me in choosing anyone of these... I want you to help me by enlightening scope and positivities of each domains so I could begin my journey.

My Current Skills: Python, Html, Css and had worked with Sql but only basics.

Hey @topeogunleye your advice is actually very helpful to me. But I have hard time in finding which one I love and do well the most, I have tried both fields , both are equally awesome....my dilemma is choosing which one would fit me the most...

I understand that you have already explored both fields and that you find them both very interesting and even like them. However, since making decisions about your future can be stressful at times, a good option is to dive in and thoroughly research what each of these disciplines is all about. I recommend that, on your own, you explore what you like about one and what you don't like about the other, and imagine how you see yourself in each in the future. The best way to do this is to thoroughly research each field and even work on projects related to them.

In analytics, basic skills in tools such as Excel, SQL and Power BI are essential. Although Python is also used, especially at advanced stages, at the beginning of your career in this field, you are likely to find yourself mainly performing data cleansing and transformation tasks, as well as report creation.

Web development encompasses the creation of websites and web applications, from interface design to server-side development. This area is in high demand in today's digital age, with fast feedback that allows you to see results immediately. It also has an active community of developers willing to collaborate. Your current skills in Python, HTML and CSS are a solid starting point, and you can expand them by learning frameworks like Django or Flask for backend development. Adding Flask or Django to your skills can further enhance your capabilities and open up new opportunities in web development.
