Copilot stuck on "Synthesizing 0/10 solutions"

Copilot appears to be stuck on "Synthesizing 0/10 solutions". Inline suggestions work perfectly, and it seems the output logs suggest that Copilot is receiving suggestions, however they are not displayed.

Environment context:
OS: MacOS Big Sur (11.6)
IDE: VSCode (1.66.2)
Copilot: 1.12.5517
Language: Java 1.8 (Although this appears to apply to JavaScript as well, suggesting it is language agnostic)

For anyone who comes looking in the future– I managed to solve this by uninstalling the Copilot extension and removing the /Users/xxx/.vscode/extensions/github.copilot-1.12.5517 folder, then reinstalling the extension.

Maybe you can click the view option on the top select line, then select GitHub Copilot Chat, then you can find the copilot chat window~
