Hi,

I have started updating the qBittorrent website.
For now, it uses the previous content (pages).

First draft:
https://github.com/wbadrh/qBittorrent-website

Online preview:
https://qbittorrent.000webhostapp.com/

Suggestions welcome!

Splendid! I like the plain & clean design.

Some ideas, mostly minor details:

  • Maybe the text in the footer could have a smaller size and maybe gray for background.
  • Top right version indicator could have larger text
  • On PC, vertical spacing between paragraphs seems a bit large, any idea to make it smaller?
  • The facebook button and other social network buttons seems a bit small compared to the text, possible to tweak it a bit?
  • Wanna add a link to your personal website in the footer?
"Website designed by:..." something like that.

Sorry for the long wait.

This is a start. But something about the colors doesn't fit.
Hmm, let me try explaining, since I am not good with design lingo.
The main background color which is white looks like out of place, especially when you have the horizontal blue "qbittorrent" logo-stripe. It looks like a CSS file failed to load and the page was misrendered.

It is nice that it now takes all the available horizontal space, but the text position looks weird. It looks like a plain txt file. Maybe a different bg color and center-alignment for text would fix this?

@Chocobo1 I updated the website. The social buttons is still todo. I'll keep you posted!

@sledgehammer999 I completely understand. What are your requirements for updating the website? Do you need full pages in markdown format? Or can I split them into different files?
What about the current artwork? Do you want to keep the current logo and mascotte? Or are you up for something new?
