Hello everyone!
I'm on qBittorrent 4.3.9 and it has come to my attention that when "Any interface" is selected and VPN is up, it would indeed bind to all interfaces, causing leaks, exposing your traffic and undermining your privacy.
This concept goes against the whole idea of VPN use: To conceal your real location and IP.
Somebody has already said - "Well, just lock it to the VPN interface". But it's not the point.
The default behavior of any software should be (and for the most part is): Comply with the default active gateway route (VPN) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If you want direct connections, you can always bind to "Ethernet" or "WIFI" interfaces manually.
But if VPN is up - no leaks are allowed.
By the way, I still keep version 4.2.1 and it has no such problem.
"Any interface" - check, VPN is up - check - all traffic goes through VPN.
Apparently, this bug/feature was added to most recent versions.
Well, thats my opinion. Would like to hear what other people think about this.
Thank you!
