I learned something new, disk cache. When I did some research on the internet, I found out that qBittorrent downloads to RAM then writes to disk when the cache size is reached, to minimize I/O operation and speed up the performance.
I set the cache size to 3072 MiB (3 GiB), and restarted qBittorrent (to confirm it'll take effect), then downloaded a large file (the only active download) that has so many seeders. It was downloading at max speed, which is a good thing. But, when I open task manager, I notice that qBittorrent is writing to the disk at 12.5 MiB/s (internet speed). I didn't understand the use of the disk cache option.
I tried with both disk I/O read/write modes enabled and disabled. Everything gives the same result.
