qBittorrent & operating system versions

Qbitorrent 4.6.4, windows 11

What is the problem?

I have no torrents on queue and the antivirus is reporting that it blocked Qbitorrent connections

iirc qbittorrent is p2p, so it downloads from random ips that seed the torrent you're trying to download. A lot of antimalware programs tend to flag that as suspicious.

I've gotten the same errors and still don't have my banking information leaked online so I'm 99.998% sure that those notifications can be disregarded.
Although don't take my word as final, antimalware programs often know more than me.

Disable the DHT, Local Peer Discovery, Peer Exchange features in the settings and you won't see any attempted connections with no torrents.
Also disable the "check for updates" settings for the same reason.

There are also other parts of the application that use network connections, such as RSS subsystem, downloading all kinds of icons (e.g. icons of trackers), etc. I'm not sure if there are ways to disable them all.
