Is it possible to relax the fixed password restriction when using self-built servers?

Currently, fixed passwords are set up with a very strict set of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and at least 8 digits.
My hope is to relax the password restrictions, especially self-built servers, each user should be very clear about the security of the password when he sets the password, when the setting is more simple, then he is more focused on convenience. Whether he sets it simple or complex, everyone is responsible for its consequences.
So, I don't think the fixed password should be limited to such a strict limit, at least the freedom to set simple passwords should be set. I think uppercase letters + lowercase letters + numbers + at least 8 digits should only be suggestions, and the software can remind the user whether to continue to set a weak password or not after recognizing a weak password, not mandatory. Sometimes you set complex passwords and forget them yourself.
