Clarification on the license #318
-
I'm considering using Skytable database once it gets expiring keys feature, which I'm hoping to be added in 0.8 release. |

Hey 👋. You never have to disclose the source for your web application! AGPL only requires you to disclose changes (if any) that you make to Skytable (and not your application). TL;DR -- If you're using Skytable as your app's database, you can just worry about building your app :) Consider this article as a guide: https://medium.com/swlh/understanding-the-agpl-the-most-misunderstood-license-86fd1fe91275 (I've heard that the above article is paywalled even though I wrote it for everyone to access for free! If that is the case please let me know and I'll publish it on my personal blog) Second, expiring keys should be shipped in two weeks. |
