The technical manual specifies it on p57, thanks for the repo as I found the download links on the Chafon site no longer work
So in this case the device ID is Please do update when the device arrives, it would be interesting to see the result. |

Hello again. I have received the reader and testet a bit. I get this error when trying to run the get-reader-info.py:
If I set the reader to: I get this output:
It is a bit weird. I bought the EU version, so I'm not sure if the output is correct. I'm not a developer, but a sysadmin. I'm a bit stuck about what to do next. Thanks. |

I think the source of my problem was that Chafon sent me the US version by mistake. I'm having a hard time to set it to EU channel. I only have EU antennas and tags, so this is probably why nothing is working for me. Starting to think it is not possible to change the channel without updating firmware in a way. I contacted Chafon to return the US model and get a EU. |

Sorry for the spam. Just wanted to update you. I was not able to set the working frequency using your script. I connected my reader to a windows VM, and launched the demo .exe file Chafon provide. Was able to set the working frequency to EU, and save. With setting:

Title pretty much sums it up.
The CF-E714 is impossible to buy now, and CHAFON CF-E714 looks to be the replacement. Will it work with this library?
