People use yt-dlg for different purposes during the same work session. For example, they might like to use one instance for downloading video with audio, as usual, but they might additionally wish to be able to use yt-dlg to download and extract only the audio from other links.
It would be nice to have an option to switch between profiles (e.g. audio/video vs audio only) rather than having to reconfigure settings every time you download.
One way might be to support profiles and also permit multiple instances. Colour coding the different profiles would help users rapidly see which instance had which profile and help them select it.
