Introducing the Expressive Note Taker: Your go-to web application for effortless note-taking and organization. With Expressive Note Taker, capturing and storing your thoughts has never been easier. This user-friendly app empowers you to jot down important ideas, to-do lists, reminders, and more, all in one convenient digital space.
- Motivation: As a developer, or anyone for that matter, I would like to have a place to keep all of my notes. When I want to jot down anything that comes to mind, I should have a convenient way to do so.
- Purpose: This application removes the cluttered notepad and turns it into your digital note-taking haven.
- What i learned: Through working out this project, I learned about routing using the express module from Node.js, and I also learned a unique new way to store data by writing to a json file.
- There is no installation required as this application is deployed in heroku. Access the website here
By clicking on the get started button you can see two columns. The left side represents saved notes and the right side a place to jot and save them. As you type up a note, click on the save icon at the top right of the screen to save the note. Click on any of your saved notes to view it's full content. Click on the plus icon at the top right to clear the text fields.
